I led the design and rollout of a fulfillment focused design system supporting Safeway’s pickup, delivery, and in store digital platforms. Built to reduce inefficiencies, accelerate delivery, and ensure cross team consistency, the system now powers experiences across 12+ product teams and dozens of internal tools.
Problem
Inconsistent UI patterns, accessibility gaps, and redundant components slowed product velocity, introduced usability issues, and created friction in the design-to-development handoff, impacting both team efficiency and customer experience.

I architected a unified, accessible design system that eliminated ambiguity, improved design quality, and streamlined handoffs, enabling teams to build faster, more consistently, and with greater confidence.
