Dell Technologies
Sr. Principal Product Designer, Dell Technologies – Security Platforms
At Dell, I led the strategy and execution of next-generation security user experiences across enterprise platforms—translating complex technical workflows into intuitive, secure, and scalable solutions. My role blended hands-on product design with strategic leadership, aligning cross-functional teams around a shared UX vision while delivering measurable impact across global systems.
I spearheaded the development of a mobile-first design system, now used across 5+ internal security platforms, streamlining UI development, reducing design debt, and enabling faster product iteration. This work enhanced design consistency and reduced front-end build time by 25%, while directly supporting Dell’s security transformation initiatives.
Key Initiatives
- Reducing task completion time by 40% through reimagined workflows, responsive layouts, and simplified interactions across core security tools.
- Improving customer satisfaction (CSAT) by 20%, driven by research-informed design and streamlined user flows for threat monitoring, policy enforcement, and incident response.
- Leading UX research and design validation through journey maps, personas, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes, influencing product roadmaps with real user data.
- Defining Figma libraries, interaction specs, and interactive playbooks that enabled teams to scale the design system and maintain design-to-code fidelity across sprints.
I worked closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to embed design within Agile workflows, ensuring that every release met technical, usability, and accessibility standards. As a player/coach, I mentored team members while advancing design quality, team processes, and cross-functional trust.
Through thoughtful design systems, stakeholder alignment, and user-centered storytelling, I helped position Dell’s enterprise security experience as modern, usable, and business-aligned, supporting both customer goals and organizational growth.
